Exercise Essential with Breast Cancer

IMG_4202 (800x598)Too many women with breast cancer are falling short of recommended guidelines for exercise. Current recommendations are 75 minutes of vigorous exercise or 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise per week. Moderate intensity exercise, such as a brisk walk, is ideal, and finding the 30 minutes five days a week is essential for maintaining health and reducing risk of recurrence. Sunspirit Wellness Services provides both cancer exercise training and health coaching to help with finding that time in a busy schedule.
